1 Acceptance of Terms & Operational Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between Chowdhury Group (including all operational manufacturing units: Al-Gilani Fashion & Textile, Al-Tahsin Apparels Ltd., Al-Sahabi Modemaker Ltd., Europe Apparels Ltd., and Al-Farabi International) and prospective international buyers, sourcing agencies, or corporate clients accessing www.chowdhurygroup.net.

By transmitting Requests for Quotations (RFQ), sample development orders, purchase orders, or navigating this website, you acknowledge full acceptance of these terms.

2 Inquiries, RFQs & Price Quotations

All commercial quotations supplied through our merchandising desks are calculated on standard FOB (Chittagong Port / Dhaka Airport) terms unless explicitly negotiated otherwise (such as CIF, CFR, or DDP).

• Quotation Validity: All formal price quotations remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from issuance, subject to raw cotton yarn market fluctuations.
• Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ): Standard production quantities are specified per style/colorway (typically 1,500 – 3,000 pcs for Knit and 1,000 – 2,000 pcs for Woven/Sweater styles).

3 Sampling, Counter-Samples & Prototypes

We operate an advanced computerized sampling unit capable of rapid turnaround for proto-samples, fit samples, size sets, and salesman samples (SMS):

• Development Samples: Provided within 7 to 10 working days following tech pack approval and raw material availability.
• Lab Dip Swatches: Prepared under D65 / TL84 lighting conditions within 5 business days for buyer color approval.
• Courier Charges: Sample express courier costs (DHL / FedEx) are borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed under formal contracts.

4 Purchase Orders & Payment Modalities

Accepted international payment modalities include:

• Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C at Sight): Confirmed and issued by a first-class international prime bank.
• Telegraphic Transfer (T/T): 30% advance deposit with the remaining 70% balance payable upon submission of clean On-Board Bill of Lading (B/L) copy.
• Usance L/C (Deferred Payment): Applicable for verified long-term corporate buyers subject to credit insurance and mutual underwriting.

5 Quality Standards & Inspection Protocols

All production lines implement rigorous 4-point fabric inspection and inline quality audits conforming to AQL 1.5 / AQL 2.5 (Acceptable Quality Level) standards:

• Third-Party Final Inspections (FRI): Buyers have the full right to appoint accredited third-party inspection agencies (e.g. SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, TÜV SÜD) prior to container stuffing.
• Needle Detection & Metal Safety: 100% of all infant, boys', and girls' garments undergo conveyor needle detection (calibrated to 0.8mm ferro-metal).

6 Intellectual Property & Private Labels

All trademarks, brand logos, embroidery artworks, and private label tags provided by the buyer remain the exclusive intellectual property of the buyer. Chowdhury Group undertakes full indemnification ensuring garments bearing buyer trademarks are manufactured solely for the contracted export order and never liquidated into secondary markets.

7 Shipment Schedules & Force Majeure

We take pride in our 98%+ on-time shipment track record. Delivery dates are established upon receipt of workable L/C and final sample approvals. In the unforeseen event of Force Majeure (acts of God, port embargoes, international blockades, or government export restrictions), timelines will be extended in mutual commercial consultation without punitive liquidated damages.

8 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any commercial contracts entered into shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh and relevant International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) commercial arbitration standards. Any unresolved commercial dispute shall be referred to arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh under the Bangladesh Arbitration Act 2001.
